Max Payne 3: The Complete Series Graphic Novel Coming this October

Coming this October from Titan Books, Max Payne 3: The Complete Series brings the three individual Max Payne comics together as a collection in a hardback print edition for the first time and features additional never-before-seen artwork.    Max Payne 3: The Complete Series delves deep into Max’s tormented past to bring his story full circle, completing the narrative thread that binds the events of Max Payne, Max Payne 2 and Max Payne 3 together: from his troubled childhood, to his successes as a young police cadet, to the brutal murder of his wife and child, to the death of his partner, to his ignominious dismissal from the NYPD, to the chance encounter in a Hoboken dive bar that propels him on an ill-fated journey to the streets of São Paulo.   Max Payne 3: The Complete Series hardback print edition will be available at bookstores and via online retailers on October 22nd for $9.99/£8.99. Max Payne 3 is currently available for PS3, Xbox 360, PC and has also recently been released for Mac.

Cast Your Ballot: Rockstar's Sleaziest Politicians

With eyes around the world tuned to today's U.S. Presidential Election, we thought it might be a good time to take a nostalgic look back at some of the public servants of questionable honor in the annals of Rockstar history and give you the opportunity to let your voice be heard. Without further ado:   Mayor Fletcher Bowron (L.A. Noire) History remembers the real-life Fletcher Bowron as a more honorable and reputable mayor - tackling the rampant corruption of his predecessor and championing many progressive projects for the city of Los Angeles. In L.A. Noire however, Bowron is heavily involved in the Suburban Redevelopment Fund conspiracy and a driving force in getting Cole Phelps kicked off the Vice desk.   Mayoral Candidate Donald Love (Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories) Like any good businessman, Donald Love knows a good opportunity when he sees it, and following the death of Liberty City Mayor R.C. Hole, Love decides to dip his toe in the political waters with a mayoral run that turns sour once his ties to organized crime in Liberty City are revealed.   Revolutionary Leader Abraham Reyes (Red Dead Redemption) While the 'ground game' of 19th century Mexican political activism was a bit more aggressive than the contests of the present day, we surely couldn't exclude revolutionary Abraham Reyes from the discussion. Eventually becoming the despotic leader of Mexico in Red Dead Redemption, Reyes displays all the key traits of a megalomaniac with aspirations of power.    Congressman Alex Shrub (Grand Theft Auto: Vice City) This Vice City congressman is a sanctimonious moral crusader by day and a crossdressing adulterer by night. Like many lustful power-hungry politicians, Shrub is ultimately done in by his philandering ways.   Congressman Thomas Stubbs (Grand Theft Auto: The Lost and Damned) Having never met a pork barrel project he didn't like, the dynastic Liberty City Congressman Thomas Stubbs also has a certain flair for getting his 'message' out.   Senator Alfred Woden (Max Payne Series) One of the leaders of the duplicitous Inner Circle, Alfred Woden isn't above playing people against each other to get what we wants. A United States Senator AND part of an elite secret society - Woden's a political conspiracy theorist's dream come true!   {poll:81}

Rockstar Throwback: A History of Rockstar Game Intros (Found on YouTube)

Respect to YouTube user laurigun1, an apparent longtime fan and dedicated collector of our titles, for putting together this pretty comprehensive trip down memory lane compiling a video tour of our signature animated Rockstar intros that have appeared at the start of our games since the late 90s. Including intros that even we haven't looked at in a while from our rarer titles like Thrasher: Skate and Destroy and Surfing H3O - as well as those that you'll recognize as having greeted you upon loading up each Grand Theft Auto title, it's a nice little nostalgic compendium. Bear in mind that the video is over a year old, which is why you won't see ones from L.A. Noire and Max Payne 3 in there. Enjoy, and let us know in the comments which you remember most fondly...     Related:Rockstar Games Bonus Beats video montage
