Max Payne 3 for PC: New Screens and Details Including System Specs and Digital Pre-Order Info

Today, we've got brand new screenshots from the PC version of Max Payne 3 along with updated details and system specifications. Developed in parallel with the game's console versions, Max Payne 3 for PC supports DirectX11 including tessellation, as well as a number of additional advanced graphics options and is optimized to run across a wide range of PC setups.

Max Payne 3 for PC will be available May 29th in North America and June 1st in Europe, with the Special Edition available in North America exclusively through GameStop and throughout Europe from select retailers. Max Payne 3’s Shotguns: New Screens & 360-Degree Renders

Previously we debuted our latest Weapons video featuring the brutal force of the shotguns in Max Payne 3. Today, we present the full-on Shotgun weapons feature at the Max Payne 3 official website.

The no-nonsense efficiency of the shotguns can drop an enemy in one clean hit - from the semi-automatic two-handed Super Sport with its gas-reloading mechanism for breathtaking fire, to the dual-wield-able Sawn-Off which can double the damage.

Max Payne 3 includes over 40 unique in-game challenges and accomplishments that span across both the single-player story and multiplayer to add to your Xbox LIVE Gamerscore or your PlayStation Network Trophy collection.

First Look: The #MaxPayne3 Multiplayer Gang Characters Cast from Twitter as They Appear in the Game

In January, we announced the eight lucky people that were selected from our exclusive Twitter casting-call to have their likenesses appear as playable characters in Max Payne 3's multiplayer. You've already seen the photo mugshots of this handsome gang of online assassins, but today we can reveal exactly how they will look in-game. Behold the #MaxPayne3 gang.

In the selection of shots above, the gun-toting group of digitized incarnations can be seen in action at several of Max Payne 3's multiplayer maps each of which are based on levels from the single-player game story - including the docks on the Tietê River, the favelas, and the São Paulo bus depot.

From UFE’s Intelligence Files: The Fabiana Branco Dossier (New Screens & Character Info from Max Payne 3)

Today at the Max Payne 3 official website, explore a confidential dossier lifted from the files of the special police task force known as the UFE (Unidade de Forças Especiais) on Fabiana Branco -  beautiful trophy wife of wealthy São Paulo business man Rodrigo Branco and like many of the city's super rich elite, a high risk kidnapping target.

The UFE's files highlight a checkered past that includes a criminal record, substance abuse and a list of high-profile former lovers she has left in her wake.
