Here's a quartet of new screens featuring the NYC area levels of Max Payne 3 which you’ll encounter in both the single-player story and in the multiplayer experience. Check them out below and in high definition at www.rockstargames.com/maxpayne3.

New York Comic Con Recap with Impressions of Max Payne 3 and Grand Theft Auto III: 10th Anniversary Edition

[Top Left: Cos-player of the show as far as we're concerned, a John Marston complete with scarred cheek; Top Right: A dedicated fan shows off a Rockstar logo tattoo; Bottom Left: Grand Theft Auto III: 10th Anniversary mugs given out at the show and coming soon to the Warehouse; Bottom Right: Fans at the booth getting hooked up with shirts, posters and more.]

Thank you to everyone who stopped by our booth at New York Comic Con this past weekend whether to check out the live gameplay demo of Max Payne 3, to go hands-on with Grand Theft Auto III: 10th Anniversary Edition for mobile - or to score some of the limited-edition and collectible gear pictured above (look for these items and more to land at the newly re-launched Rockstar warehouse soon), we had both games on display to fans and press alike. You can check out the pics above in higher res along with some other shots from the show over at our Twitter stream. Below is a look at early impressions from some of the gaming sites that were on hand at the show revealing what they saw - and look for more in a roundup to be featured here later this week.

Max Payne 3:

"Max, inspired by the real-life look of voice actor James McCaffrey, is physics-tuned to, well, the max. He walks and falls and flies through the air in slow motion like a human who has all 206 bones to use. What’s seen so far is really a marvel of motion capture and game design. Even as Max is falling to the ground, you can carefully lock on, aim and shoot. That’s going to be compelling with a weapon in each hand."

"[Max Payne 3] is powered by the same engine as Red Dead Redemption and Grand Theft Auto IV, albeit with some improvements. In the first scene of the hands-off demo - a shoot-out at Max's New York apartment - Max stepped onto the roof and gave us a jaw-dropping, winter time view of the Manhattan skyline. Furthermore, all the characters have been motion captured, making every little movement realistic." - Cinema Blend

http://www.cinemablend.com/games/Max-Payne-3-Preview-Bald-Beautiful-36072.html

"Rockstar went through a lot of motion capture work to get the characters right. It has paid off. Max, and every other character we saw, from allies to the most basic of enemies, are all a part of their environment. Max hops over barriers, takes cover and even takes actual footsteps (no sliding!) to move around.  Even quick changes of direction result in Max planting his foot and his body shifting." - DualShockers

Grand Theft Auto III: 10th Anniversary Edition:

"After about 10 minutes of hands-on time with the game running on an iPad 2, there's no mistaking that GTA III on iOS is a loving port of the game that catapulted Rockstar to the top echelon of game developers. The up-rezzed graphics become immediately apparent, with tons more detail on character faces and clothes." - Kotaku

http://kotaku.com/5849639/grand-theft-auto-iii-on-ios-looks-better-than-you-remember

"It features faces with cleaner, more human-like facial detail... That attention to detail applies to the world you traverse as well. I really wanted to jump to the Callahan Bridge area just to check out the city’s vista at night. There’s subtle shading and a looming foggy look at you walk or ride down a street. The polished sheen on car paint now shows off real-time reflections of the nearby environment as you pass."

Thanks to Everyone for Coming Out to the 38th Annual Harlem Skyscraper Cycling Classic (Photos & Recap)

We'd like to extend our thanks to everyone that came out to Marcus Garvey Park on Sunday, June 19th to experience the 2011 Harlem Skyscraper Cycling Classic and wish congratulations to all the day's winners, including the victor of the overall Omnium, Leif Lampater - who last year finished second in this event behind his teammate Christian Grasmann.

The day began with the kids races where the young'ns got busy on the track competing in a series of educational races and got a chance to score some free bike gear. Throughout the day, BMX pro crew members Jay Rodriquez, Danny Parks and others on hand entertained kids of all ages putting on an aerial show that was worth the trip to the event in itself.

The day of high speed competition started with John Blake and Godfrey Pollydore winning the Cat 4 Men's Points race, and Cat 2/3 Men's Points race respectively. Kristin Lotito of West Hempstead New York held off a talented group of Pros to win the Women's Pro 1/2/3 Points race, and set the stage for the main event of the day, the David Walker Memorial Elite Men's Professional race. Reformatted to showcase the speed and skill of some of the world's best track racers, this two round Omnium consisted of both a points race, and an elimination race that kept the crowd riveted. Leif Lampater placed first overall and first in the Pro Men's Points race while Douglas Repacholi won the Pro Men's Elimination race by pulling away from the pack early and crossing the finish line well ahead of the field.

The final event of the day was the three lap Keirin Exhibition finale. Riders for this race were placed behind a motorcycle that accelerated from about 15 mph to 30 mph before pulling off and launching the riders into a lap long sprint for the finish. Godfrey Pollydore - also the winner of the Cat 2/3 Men's Points race - shocked the field and made an excellent sprint to win in a very close and exciting heat.

Check out a few photos from the event below, and for anybody that didn't have a chance to watch our live race day webcast stream, you can see the archived video featuring the entirety of the Men's Omnium and Keirin Exhibition along with more photos over at http://www.rockstargames.com/skyscraperclassic/2011. Also visit the official Harlem Skyscraper website for all of the day's results, and more event day media.

The 38th Annual Harlem Skyscraper Cycling Classic Is Fast Approaching, Sunday June 19th - Check Out Updated Schedule of Events & Webcast Info

Just around the bend, a week from this Sunday, will be the 38th annual Harlem Skyscraper Cycling Classic held at Marcus Garvey Park up in Harlem USA (121st Street and Fifth Ave) on Father's Day, June 19th, 2011. We cycling enthusiasts here at Rockstar are getting pumped and preparing for what we hope will be another great Sunday in the park for one and all on this, our third consecutive time proudly sponsoring the event.

Today, we've just launched our 2011 event page detailing all of the information about this year's Classic - which has been reformatted to preview the new Olympic track racing format, the Omnium - a difficult and fast paced racing style that was invented and popularized right here in our hometown of New York City. Incorporated to attract the casual spectator, the new format showcases the speed and skill of the riders, with a series of races that are all held on the same day.

As always, the event offers a great time for both serious cycling fans - with a rare chance to watch world-class professional cyclists like Franco Marvulli, Christian Grasmann and Leif Lampater in action - and for families looking to spend a great day in the park with activities like the "Bike Bonanza", where kids can improve their riding skills, get a free bike helmet, swap their bike for a better one, or register their bike through the New York Police Department. Bike New York is teaming with the Department of Transportation’s Education and Outreach division, DOT Bike Program, and Recycle-A-Bicycle to offer the program free to children of all ages.

The day’s events will kick off at 12:00 p.m. with the children’s races - a chance for kids to ride and race in front of a cheering crowd on the streets of NYC. A full card of adult amateurs (men and women) will then take to the streets beginning at 1:30 p.m., followed by the main event featuring the elite men's professionals at 4:00 p.m. – the only event in the greater New York City area to pit world-renowned cyclists against one another. The day’s events are a true celebration of all things cycling, bringing together the best of BMX, road racing, and fixed-gear racing in a festival that is unrestricted by age, experience or gender.

Race coverage begins on Sunday, June 19th at 4:00 pm [ET], and will broadcast streaming live online at http://www.rockstargames.com/skyscraperclassic, and on NYC Live TV, Channel 25 in New York City.
