Max Payne 3 brings the deepest and most advanced features yet to the recently re-launched Rockstar Games Social Club community network – all in support of the game’s powerful Multiplayer experience and single-player story.
SOCIAL CLUB CREWS
With Max Payne 3 comes the debut of Social Club Multiplayer Crews – thousands of you have already been actively registering and recruiting since our announcement of Crews registration launch yesterday, and all of those Crews plus ones created up until this Tuesday will be designated as Founder Crews with a distinctive two-stripe tag mark in-game and veteran perks to be announced. Look for a round-up in the next day or so of some of the first and coolest Founder Crews that have caught our eye so far - and if you haven't already, hit up http://socialclub.rockstargames.com/crews/info for more details and to CREW UP.
DEEP PERFORMANCE TRACKING
Social Club members also gain access to robust stat tracking across both single-player and multiplayer, dynamic checklists to help see you through every level and accomplishment, exclusive content to be unlocked, and a seamless connection to our regularly scheduled and live-streaming official multiplayer events that reward you with bonus XP for your participation.
You'll be able to trash-talk your friends with the numbers to back it up with Social Club functionality that allows you to match up your stats against friends, or your fellow Crew members for side-by-side comparison - which means Crew leaders can keep track of who's pulling weight and who's dead weight in the squadron. So, whether you’re a lone wolf or a multiplayer maven, we’ve got the tools you need to keep tabs on every facet of your gaming experience and see how you stack up against your friends, your Crew, and the rest of the Social Club community.

12 New Achievements/Trophies in the Red Dead Redemption: Undead Nightmare Pack

As you fight the deadly zombie plague across the frontier in Red Dead Redemption: Undead Nightmare – you’ll be able to earn 12 new in-game accomplishments on both Xbox 360 (as Achievements) and PlayStation 3 (as Trophies) along the way. Revealed here today are five of them... You'll have to wait until game release to find out what the other seven secret hidden accomplishments are.

The Banhammer: Update

Just a quick update for everyone on the latest state of affairs with our initiative to banish the most egregious hackers and cheaters from the online world of Red Dead Redemption.
Two months have passed since the banhammer initially fell, and some of the banned Gamertags and PSN IDs detected at that time with hacked game saves have now been detected to be clean with said saves now deleted. We will now be considering those people REDEEMED, with time served – and reinstating their access to Red Dead Redemption multiplayer. Welcome back – and keep it fair.
We have also detected some other rotten apples out there with hacked game saves who weren’t initially banned, including those that were still attempting to play with hacked multiplayer save files. These Gamertags and PSN IDs will now be penalized as part of a second wave of banning as such cheating is a clear violation of our code of conduct, punishable at our sole discretion.
If you have been banned and wish to get back in our good graces to be reinstated - delete your hacked save files, for both single player and multiplayer. Everything is wiped when deleting saves with the exception of Achievements/Trophies, pre-order items, and cheats unlocked through Social Club. Note that after deleting your hacked game saves, you will then need to go online with Red Dead Redemption for it to register that you're now playing clean and do the following:
- For single-player saves, you will need to re-play the game while connected until you gain access to the safehouse at MacFarlane's Ranch.
- For multiplayer saves, you will need to play one full multiplayer game online or do one Gang Hideout.
Lastly - just as we said in our first round of banning, the comments area below is not the place to share your side of the story or to give excuses - all such comments here and in other posts will be deleted, subject to our terms of service.

Rockstar Game Tips: Saying "Auf Wiedersehen Petrovic" (Grand Theft Auto IV)

Although the “Auf Wiedersehen Petrovic” Achievement/Trophy may not have the highest point value, it is still to this day one of the most difficult and most requested game tips in all of Grand Theft Auto IV. The basic synopsis says, ”Win all ranked multiplayer variations, all races and 'Cops ‘n Crooks', as both sides” but this brief description entails a whole lot of challenge. With no further ado, read on for a nice, detailed description that can serve as a checklist for all those GTAIV players that have struggled to nail this one.
To receive this Achievement/Trophy you must have:
- the highest point total at the end of the game for all points based games
- achieved the best race time (at the end of the race) for all Race tracks (including Helicopter races, Boat races, Free races, and Cannonball Runs)
- achieved the best race time (at the end of the race) for all GTA Race tracks (including Helicopter races, Boat races, Free races, and Cannonball Runs)
- won as both a “cop” and a “crook” in both variations of Cops n’ Crooks
- completed each of the Co-op modes
Additional Requirements:
- There must be at least 1 opponent in the game when the final leaderboard is finished processing – being the only player left does not count
- For PS3 users, all games won since 12/17/2008 count toward this challenge, but not the ones prior to that date
Finally, some users have reported that their race stats were not counting toward completion of the “Auf Wiedersehen Petrovic” Achievement/Trophy due to lag in uploading or a bad internet connection. If you have experienced either of these problems, make sure to check your internet connection and also have a quick look at the leaderboards to verify that your stats have been sent successfully before powering down your console.
