Aiming down the sights of a G6 Commando.
January's issue of Official PlayStation Magazine UK features an in-depth look at one of the levels in Max Payne 3, where Max must wield heavy firepower along with absolute precision and cunning to rescue a hostage from the clutches of the ruthless Comando Sombra gang at the docks near the Tietê River.
You can now read the full preview online at the Official PlayStation Magazine UK site, and here check out a selection of screens originally only available in the print edition of the magazine. Check them out here as well as two more full high def over at the newly launched Max Payne 3 official website: www.rockstargames.com/maxpayne3/screens.
"It's heartening to see Max back on such fine form, and there's multiplayer to get excited about too... The tone is just as I remember, and it’s still about one man’s struggle against both his own demons and overwhelming odds. Oh, and did we mention that it looks amazing?" - Official PlayStation Magazine UK

Returning fire on a member of the Comando Sombra.

Max loads up, preparing to take care of business down at the docks.

@Qcfrank89: The G6 actually looks very similar to the FX-05 Xiuhcoatl, the primary assault rifle for the Mexican Army, which also bears a resemblance to the G36...something that already came under scrutiny with H&K accusing Mexico of stealing the G36 design for the FX-05.
The G6 Commando so far has looked like the only weapon Rockstar have fictionalized by what looks like taking a real world weapon and then putting their spin and adjustment to the design. Everything else show so far though has been an actual real weapon, even the 608 Bull is a real gun aptly named the Raging Bull made in Brazil by Taurus. :)

@nash4m @BorisBlack @nikobelic2500000 Enjoy the screens everyone
@Qcfrank89 Thanks for the question – all of the weapons in Max Payne 3 are fictionalized so that we can design and tune them for fun rather than actual simulation. Stay tuned, we’ll be revealing more of the in-game weaponry over the coming weeks and months.

It's a nice collectible, plus the few extra new screenshots definitely make it worth it. The detail on Max's face with the cuts and bruises is impressive!
